THE SLICE - After over 10 years of working labour in canada, Giuseppe sees a commercial space open up on yonge & gerrard. He takes his chance, & opens the infamous big slice in 1981. Giuseppe starts selling individual pizza slices, helping pioneer the trend of buying pizza by the slice.
THE CRAFT - Giuseppe's now running the top pizza joint in town. lured by the flashy cars, bright lights and loud music of downtown yonge st., his two boys - sebastian and dom - spend most of their child & teen years at the big slice, helping their father and learning his craft.
